Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Installation - 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Blue Ox base plate on our 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe. The base plate is gonna be your way to connect your tow bar to the front of your Tahoe and your tow bar is gonna be the physical connection from your Tahoe to your motor home. You're gonna have some other components that you're gonna need in order to flat tow your vehicle. It's gonna be your safety cables, your diode wiring that transfers the lighting signals back to the back of your Tahoe, and then a supplemental braking system. With your base plate, It's gonna have a very, very sturdy steel construction with a matte black powder coat finish. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're gonna take a look at and show you how to install the Roadmaster EZ4 base plate kit. Its part number is RM-523179-4.Here's what your base plate's gonna look like installed. As you can see, we're gonna have our removable arms here on each side. That gives us that connection point we need to connect from our vehicle to the back of our towed vehicle. When not in use, these can be removed so you don't have big arms hanging out of the front of your Tahoe. Just pull the little pin on each side. more
